About Me
My name is Joris Nagtegaal and I received my MSc degree at the University of Amsterdam in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage in the specialisation Glass and Ceramics.
Before my Master's degree I studied Cultural Heritage at the Amsterdam University of the Arts where I gained broad experience with collection management and preventive conservation.
During my Master's I learned a variety of techniques for the restoration of glass and ceramic objects, ranging from archaeological objects to contemporary art.
In the Advanced Professional Program I am currently following, I have been given the opportunity to put the techniques I learned into practice and gain more hands-on experience with the restoration of cultural heritage artefacts.
